Teach Africa offers a unique opportunity for students and researchers passionate to make a difference to volunteer as teachers in OXCAMP participating senior high schools in Africa. This is an exciting opportunity that will benefit both the school and the volunteer in terms of exchange of ideas and experiences. Volunteers can also come up with their own project idea that could benefit the participating school or community.

Volunteers can choose to visit during their summer

break or at a mutually agreed period with the participating schools. Interested volunteers should complete the application form, or email for further details.

Travel and other costs are the responsibility of the volunteer. We can help volunteers find suitable accommodation, and in some cases we are able to provide accommodation depending on choice of country and participating school.

The OXCAMP Teach Africa programme runs on average for a period of 6-8 weeks, with possibility of negotiating longer visits.

Visits can only be arranged to countries where we have a presence. We have a strong presence in following countries: Ghana, The Gambia, Nigeria, Kenya and Botswana. We are especially keen to have volunteers who are willing to support deprived schools and communities in these countries.

OXCAMP is happy to assist in arranging your travel and accommodation.
