The Oxbridge Africa Mentorship Programme (OXCAMP Africa) is an initiative aimed at identifying the best talents in Africa and mentoring them to become effective leaders. OXCAMP believes the future of Africa and the development of the continent depends on the best minds put to the service of all.

The many challenges confronting Africa can only be overcome through identification and harnessing of the human talents on the continent. The process of development will require constructive engagement with different people and contexts. At the heart of the OXCAMP initiative is mentoring.

This programme seeks to identify the best talents through an open competitive process. Successful candidate will have the unique opportunity to spend a period of two weeks at University of Cambridge, one of the oldest and top universities in the world. During this period, the students will undergo various training and will be taught a range of subjects; they will have the opportunity to interact with some of the leading scholars in the world and to visit interesting places in the United Kingdom for educational purposes. OXCAMP is unique in its mentorship scheme. The scheme is designed to provide a mentorship for the selected students to enable them develop their potential and offer good leadership in their chosen field.
